The Art of Meditation ππ»
There is this space in which all experience arises. This space is something we can call awareness or god. Everything within this space is made up of space but it is space expressing itself in a particular way: animals, humans, plants, objects etc.
This space can never be touched, it can never be changed but what is happening in the space is always changing. As you are the space you can be clean of all that is happening and can let be all that is happening.
Meditation is being this space. It is the practice of being meditative which can be done at every moment in every pose or position.
It is best as a beginner to close your eyes and be the space. Not focussing in on anything you experience: your thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations or anything in particular. It is best to stay as the space or stay as awareness. It is an open awareness, a zooming out and a relaxation of focus.
When you begin to master this state then what you do is you try being the space with eyes open. When this works for you, you can begin to let your body move and get up while you stay in the space or stay in meditation.
This is what we call βactiveβ meditation. And life itself can be lived in this active meditation state. Doing so will bring great peace, love and intuition in your experience.
A lot of research has been done into meditation. It changes the brain and its capacities. This article contains a good summary of those changes: https://buffer.com/resources/how-meditation-affects-your-brain
I hope you enjoy your meditation.
